Who am I?
Hey! My name is Luisa. But almost everyone I know calls me Louie. I am a 27-year-young girl (she/her) with a B.A in advertisement with a minor in creativity. Along this journey, I have been working with amazing people and incredible clients. By the way, my experience with photography and baby-steps-design has been a reality since 2014; which gives me about 10 years of learning and making design stuff. These kind of things lead me to an incredible path that had already gave me such great opportunities like working with worldwide known brands and being part of really important projects about causes that are truly crucial for our society.
I grew up in a small town in the southern Brazillian countryside. As a queer woman, it hasn't been easy to express myself explicitly the way I would like to. So, I had to get creative to keep myself at least okay with my secrets. Thus, creating stuff made me more confident, and also made me feel free. My first passion related to creativity was songwriting. By the age of 13 I already had had 2 emo bands and at least 15 authoral songs playing around in VGA quality videos at my friends’ phones. Not a long time after this phase, I got my first not-that-great camera, and started to make promotional photos for some local emo bands, because I really loved to compose the scenes (let's be honest: emo aesthetics were super dope at this time, 2009/2010). After this, things happened almost naturally, I started messing around inside photoshop, discovered other softwares that were related to design, got really excited with the rise of the youtube academy, and challenged myself every day to get better at things I liked until I got good enough to work with it, and: here I am.
Cool. But let's get straight to the point: what am I really capable of?
This has really been a big question in my career. I have always liked to work with so many things I can't barely describe all of it. So, in these years I was able to fall in love with a long list of activities such as: art direction, photography, video editing, writing, composing, directing, animation and lots of other things I still want to learn. This site brings out my portfolios, and you can check some of my work and things I made with the skills I had improved over these years. I hope you like it. And, if you have something to say about it, please, send me a feedback.
